My first post..

I decided to call this the Lucky 7 blog because I finished 7th in the Overall and 7th in Pro in the Mid-South Winter Hare Scramble Series (MSWS) this year. The place that you finish becomes your number for the next year so I'll be #7, lucky 7. I plan on being #1 the following year.
Alright, now let me tell you what this is all about if you are not familiar with it already. I have a passion for ATV's that started when I was little. I have raced ATV's all my life. The MSWS is an off-road cross country ATV race that is an 8-12 mile course that goes through the woods, hill climbs, creek crosses, mud, rocks, you name it, we ride over it and through it. We ride for 1 1/2 to 2 hours each race.

Besides racing, I ride all the time. I have been to California and Oklahoma this year to ride the sand dunes and they are awesome. I'm planning a trip right now to West Virginia to ride the Hatfield-McCoy trail system. As you can tell, I'm obsessed with four-wheelers and thankfully, my family supports me.

  3. Wow that is neat. My dad has four wheelers and lives in the country. My kids love to ride them, on the 4th of July my daughter (13)was driving too fast after a 10 minute rain and needless to say she was going to fast and her an a friend flew off. She was ok but everyone was made at her because they had to take a break from them for a while! lol I think she learned a lesson... Liz Webster

  4. Hi Jeremy aka #7,
I have to admit I love to ride them, but am a little afraid to let my kids ride due to accidents. It sounds like you know what you are doing. I wish you all the luck! What a neat way to share your love of ATVs. I love to hear about people loving what they do and doing what they love....

  5. My boys and I like to ride also. We ride in the Pickett State Park area. We really enjoy riding in the mountains also. Keep having fun.

  6. I used to ride all the time myself, but now I live in town and can't really do it. Every now and then I'll head out to my Dad's and crank one up.

  9. Jeremy I've got one of the old 250 Honda Big Reds. It doesn't have much of a suspension system, so short trips are all anyone can stand. What kind of ATV's do you have? Hope you have good classes this year.
